What Counterpart Business does

Counterpart Business gives two businesses that work together, like a supplier and a café or a designer and a client, one shared place for their working relationship. Each business signs in, creates a profile, and connects with the other by entering an invite code. From then on they can message each other, send and track invoices, send proposals and contracts to sign, and schedule meetings, all inside the app.

What you can do

One thread per business

A private conversation with each business you're connected to, with unread counts.

Invoices that fit how you get paid

Line items, discounts and taxes, with one payment, a deposit and balance, or monthly installments. Share any invoice as a PDF.

Proposals and contracts

Send a proposal they accept with a typed signature, and the invoice is created for them. Contracts are signed the same way.

Meetings they can see

Request a time; they accept or decline. Confirmed meetings go straight into your calendar.

Your own pipeline

Private notes, tasks and a stage for every business, from Inquiry to Completed. Only you see them.

Reports

Money received by month, your top clients and how long it takes to get paid.

How Counterpart Business uses Google sign-in

You can sign in with Google (or Apple) instead of creating a password. When you do, Counterpart Business receives only your basic Google profile: your name, email address and profile picture. We use them solely to create your account, pre-fill your business profile and keep you signed in. We don't access your Gmail, Google Drive, Calendar, contacts or any other Google data, and we never post anything to your Google account. See the Privacy Policy for details.

How connecting works

  1. Sign in with Apple or Google and enter your business name.
  2. Share your 6-character invite code with a business you work with, or enter theirs.
  3. Once connected, everything you share with them is visible to both of you, and no one else.
