Pushup Tracker
Get stronger one push-up at a time, on iPhone and Apple Watch.
Pushup Tracker is a free fitness app that helps you build a daily push-up habit. Set a daily goal, count your reps by tapping or with your camera, follow a training plan or a guided workout, and watch your progress grow.
What the app does
- Daily goals and streaks. Log your push-ups and keep your streak alive.
- Camera rep counting. Prop up your phone and it counts push-ups, squats, sit-ups and jumping jacks. Video never leaves your phone.
- Training plans and guided workouts. Level-based plans, Tabata and 7-minute circuits, with animated exercise demos and form tips.
- Progress. Max-rep tests, weekly recaps, personal records and milestones.
- Apple Watch and Apple Health. Log reps from your wrist and save workouts, with heart rate and calories, to Health.
- Leaderboard (optional). Sign in with Apple or Google to compete with other players using a nickname.
How Pushup Tracker uses Google sign-in
Pushup Tracker offers "Continue with Google" for one purpose only: signing in to the optional leaderboard. When you sign in, the app receives your name, email address and Google account ID, and uses them only to create and identify your leaderboard account. It does not request access to any other Google data or services.
Pushup Tracker is a fitness tracking app. It does not use artificial intelligence to create, edit or generate images, video or any other media, and it does not use Google APIs for anything other than sign-in. It never creates, stores or shares intimate or sexual imagery of any kind.
Privacy
Your workouts are stored on your iPhone and backed up to your own iCloud. The optional leaderboard stores only what it needs: your nickname, your scores and the account you signed in with. Read the full privacy policy.
Support
Found a bug or have a question? Open a support request and describe what happened. Include your iPhone model and iOS version if you can. (You'll need a free GitHub account.)
The camera isn't counting my reps.
Prop your phone up so the camera can see the right body parts: shoulders, elbows and wrists for push-ups; hips, knees and feet for squats; your whole body for jumping jacks. For sit-ups, turn side-on to the camera. Good lighting helps. You can always tap the screen to count a rep instead.
The app says camera access is denied.
Open iOS Settings, scroll down to Pushup Tracker and turn on Camera.
How do I move my data to a new phone?
It's backed up to your iCloud automatically. On the new phone, the app offers to restore it the first time you open it. You can also export a backup file from Settings.
How do I leave the leaderboard?
Open the Ranks tab and tap Leave leaderboard. That deletes your leaderboard account, nickname and scores. Your workouts stay on your phone.
How do I add the widget?
Open the app once, then long-press your home screen, tap Edit, then Add Widget, and search for Pushup Tracker.
Reminders aren't showing up.
Check that notifications are allowed for Pushup Tracker in iOS Settings, and that reminders are turned on in the app's Settings.
